About the Bison in 2007-08 -
- This will be Bucknell's third event of the spring. Last month the Bison competed in the Pinehurst Challenge at Pinehust No. 8 and the First Market Bank Intercollegiate, hosted by William & Mary at Ford's Colony CC.
- The Bison finished 13th in a strong 20-team field at William & Mary, led by a top-20 finish from freshman Katie Jurenovich. With rounds of 78-82, Jurenovich tied for 17th. Emily Chiodo (81-83) and Kristen Phalen (84-80) also played well, finishing T-36th.
- Jurenovich was also the team's low player at Pinehurst, shooting 82-79-82. She leads the team with an 80.6 spring average.
- Factoring in fall and spring scores, Jurenovich (80.6) and Chiodo (81.1) rank 1-2 on the team, and both are in the top 20 in Big South scoring average. Jurenovich is third in the league among freshmen.
- Junior Deirdre Moran is back with the squad after studying abroad in the fall. In her first event of the year, Moran shot a consistent 83-83-83 at Pinehurst.
