PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - For the second straight game the Bucknell women's lacrosse squad was victimized by a tough second half, as Drexel scored 11 times after intermission to defeat the Bison 17-6 on Monday afternoon. Bonnie Buechel (South Orange, N.J./Columbia) scored three goals for the Bison, who fell to 4-6, while Drexel improved to 7-2 behind four goals each from Kerry Kelly and Jessica Bill.

Paige Kasschau (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side) tied the game at 3-3 with 14:32 left in the half, but Drexel proceeded to scored the next nine goals.

Kelly scored twice and Emily Hoesch once to give the hosts a 6-3 halftime lead, and Kelly scored just 14 seconds into the second half to ignite the Dragons' surge. By the time Mariana Uribe scored the first of her three second-half goals with 19:24 remaining, Drexel had a 12-3 lead.

Alison Heffernan (Malvern, Pa./Agnes Irwin School) ended the run with 17:53 left, and Buechel added two more late goals for the Bison, but they could not get the margin closer than nine the rest of the way.
