LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell women's lacrosse team's 2003 season debut has been postponed for another three days due to a layer of ice covering the field. The Bison were scheduled to open the season on Sunday, March 2, hosting Niagara at 1:00 p.m.

The Niagara game has been cancelled, and the Orange and Blue will attempt to kick off the season at Monmouth on Wednesday, March 5, at 3:30 p.m. Bucknell's first home game of the season is slated for Saturday, March 8, against Columbia at 12:00 p.m.

The Bison finished the 2002 season with a 6-9 overall record, and a mark of 1-5 in Patriot League play.
