LEWISBURG, Pa. - Saturday's Bucknell softball doubleheader against Lafayette has been postponed due to expected inclement weather. Sunday's doubleheader, slated for a 12 p.m. start at West Fields, will remain as scheduled. No makeup date has been announced for Saturday's postponed twinbill.

Bucknell (13-18, 6-10 Patriot League) split a doubleheader with Colgate Thursday and currently holds the fourth position in the league standings with just four conference games remaining on the schedule. The top four teams qualify for the Patriot League Tournament, held at the home field of the highest seed, April 30-May 1. The Bison can clinch a position in the four-team field with either two wins this weekend, or one win and a Holy Cross loss to Colgate. The Crusaders and Raiders are scheduled to play doubleheaders Friday and Saturday.

Lafayette, which has lost four of its last five games, will enter Sunday's doubleheader having lost three consecutive games.

Bucknell owns a 47-21 all-time record against the Leopards. That figure is the most wins the Bison have against any opponent.

Bucknell will wrap up its regular season Wednesday, April 27, when it hosts Delaware in a non-league doubleheader at 2:30 p.m.
