LEWISBURG, Pa. - Thirteen members of the Bucknell softball team were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Friday. The Bison garnered better than one-fourth of the total softball players honored as a total of 51 were cited.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.

Highlighting Bucknell's list of honorees was 2006 graduate Lauren Wible (Dover, Del./Dover) who was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II first team this past spring.

Elsewhere around the league, Lehigh had 15 Honor Roll members, while Holy Cross had eight. Lafayette (6), Army (5) and Colgate (4) rounded out the list.

Overall, Bucknell paced the Patriot League with 215 total student-athletes earning positions on the Honor Roll in the 14 winter/spring sports the league recognizes.
