WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Bucknell women's tennis kept a perfect series record against Saint Francis (Pa.), defeating the Red Flash 5-2 at the West Branch Tennis Club on Saturday. The Bison (1-0) got two wins apiece from Maria Cioffi, Lydia Colvin and Jen Bush in their first dual match of the season.
After taking the doubles point and four of six singles matches, Bucknell improved its all-time record against Saint Francis to 12-0.
The Bison kicked things off with wins at second and third doubles. Colvin and Maria Cioffi teamed up for the 8-3 victory over Shivani Patel and Alex Sachs, while Bush partnered with Stephanie Pino for an 8-4 decision over Camila Diaz and Jenifer Yealy.
