Bucknell Women's Tennis Drops 7-0 Decision to Indiana State

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Just one day after recording a 7-0 victory over Radford, the Bucknell women's tennis team was on the opposite end of a 7-0 decision to Indiana State on Monday morning. Bucknell falls to 1-2 in the spring with the loss. All three doubles squads avoided the shutout, losing 8-4, 8-3 and 8-4 at one, two and three, respectively. Junior Jill Wurzburg (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) came was the only Bison player to win a set, picking up a 6-4 win in her first set against Magda Narczewska at third singles. She dropped the next two, 2-6 and 0-6 for the loss. Bucknell is in action next with an 8:00 a.m. match against George Mason on Tuesday, March 12.
