Women's Tennis Team Starts Spring Trip With Convincing Win

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The Bucknell women's tennis team got off to a good start on its spring break trip with a solid 6-1 win over La Salle. The Orange and Blue won five-of-the-six singles flights and won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point.

Senior Beth Wurzburg (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier), freshman Kristen Pugno (Montclair, N.J./Montclair Kimberley Academy), and sophomore Laura Maisel (Princeton, N.J./Hun School) were all double-winners for the Bison.

Bucknell will be back in action on Wednesday when it takes on Quinnipiac.
