Women's Tennis Team Suffers Defeat at Villanova

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Bucknell women's tennis team suffered its fourth-straight loss of the season with a 7-0 defeat at Villanova on Saturday, April 7. The Bison fall to 4-5 overall on the season.

Villanova won all six singles matches and claimed two of the three doubles bouts to earn the 7-0 victory in the match. The Bucknell doubles tandem of sophomore Laura Maisel (Princeton, N.J./Hun School) and freshman Kristen Pugno (Montclair, N.J./Montclair Kimberly Academy) were the lone winners for the Bison, picking up a decisive 8-0 win at the third doubles flight.

Bucknell hosts Colgate for a Patriot League match at 12:00 noon on Sunday, April 8.
