Bucknell Women's Tennis Falls 4-0 to Army in PL Tournament

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Bucknell women's tennis season has come to a close with a 4-0 loss at Army on Saturday, April 26. The fourth-seeded Bison were facing top-seeded Army in the first round of the Patriot League Championship.

The Black Knights quickly jumped out to a 1-0 lead by claiming the doubles point.

In singles action, Nadezda Curcic lost a 6-1, 6-3 decision to Army's Marissa Limsiaco at number one. Lyndsey Nott picked up a point for the Black Knights at the sixth flight, winning 6-2, 7-5 over Samantha Berthod.

It took three sets, but Melanie Bundoc secured the win for Army with her 6-1, 3-6, 6-0 victory over BU's Tanya Sichko at nuber four.

Bucknell ends the season at 15-6 overall. The Cadets are 16-6 and advance to the championship match against American at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.

2. Limsiaco/Bundoc (A) def. Wurzburg/Sichko - 8-3.
