LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's women's tennis team stands at 10-1 on the 2003-04 season and was ranked tied for 62nd of all Division I teams yesterday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The Bison were ranked 65th in last week's computer poll when the team stood at 9-0, and have had a 5-2 loss to Colgate and 7-0 blitzing of Towson since.

The Bison are the only Patriot League team in the ITA's Top-75, and are one of just five teams in the northeastern U.S. appearing in the rankings.

Bucknell begins a string of eight matches over the next two weeks before the Patriot League Tournament Apr. 17-18. The Bison start that string tomorrow, weather permitting against Mount St. Mary's at 3:30 p.m. in Lewisburg. The team will resume the Patriot League schedule this weekend with matches at Lafayette on Saturday at 1 p.m. and on Sunday at 11 a.m. at American.
