LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell senior Charity Brady (Warren, Ohio/Warren G. Harding) has received the February Athlete of the Month Award for indoor track and field from local co-sponsors K.I.C.K.S. Marshall Arts for Women and Curves for Women.

The February awards were announced at the monthly Bucknell Women's Sports Luncheon, held Thursday, March 6. Sponsored by K.I.C.K.S. Marshall Arts for Women and Curves for Women, the luncheon recognizes one outstanding student-athlete from each Bucknell women's sport in season at that time. The other winners for the month of February as selected by their respective coaches, were Nadezda Curcic for women's tennis and Katie Harigan for women's water polo.

At the 2003 Patriot League Championships, Brady ran the 400 meters in 57.80 for a silver medal. Brady (3rd, 25.99) filled one of the five Bucknell slots out of eight lanes in the 200-metere dash finals.

The Bison set to participate in the ECAC Championships on March 8-9. Bucknell's outdoor track and field season will begin on Saturday, March 22 at the UMBC Retriever Invitational.

The next Women's Sport Luncheon will be held on Thursday, April 3 at noon.
