LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell volleyball placed eight student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday. Rachel Rodriguez (Sagamore Hills, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) was one of just two players in the league to earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average during the fall semester.
The Bison's eight selections to the honor roll rank second in the Patriot League behind American, who placed nine players on the list. The league recognized a total of 50 volleyball student-athletes for their academic success last term.
Rodriguez led the Bison on the league's honor roll yet again. The junior has now earned a 4.0 GPA in each of her fall semesters. All eight Bucknell student-athletes earned a 3.41 or better.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must achieve a 3.2 grade-point average in the fall semester.
