Led Team in Kills, Digs and Aces against American in Patriot League Semifinal Match

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell women's volleyball junior Kristen Sydlowski (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) was named Lewisburg Hotel Bison Athlete of the Week on Monday.

Sydlowski led Bucknell in kills with 16, digs with 25 and service aces with four against American in the Patriot League semifinal match and notched the game point with a kill to give the Orange and Blue a 30-28 game three victory.

The Bison came up just short, falling to the Eagles, 3-2, on the court in Bender Arena on Friday evening, but became just the second Patriot League team to win two games against the Eagles and the first to play a five-game match since American joined the conference in 2001.

Bucknell finished the 2005 season with a record of 17-14 overall and 9-5 in the Patriot League.
