VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Bucknell women's water polo team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 17-15 victory over Villanova at the Villanova Invitational on Saturday, February 17.

Bucknell got six goals and four assists from senior co-captain Julie McLaughlin (Woodside, Calif./Menlo) and five scores from junior Adrienne Schober (Houston, Texas/Clearlake), en route to the victory over Villanova. Also scoring multiple goals were junior Brooke Rea (Canandaigua, N.Y./Los Altos) and sophomore Katy Stahler (San Diego, Calif./Mt. Carmel) with two goals each.

Sophomore goalkeeper Lindsay Chesterfield (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) finished the game with 10 saves.

Bucknell improves to 2-0 on the year and plays George Washington at 4:45 p.m.
