Women's Water Polo Gets Day Started With a Win

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell women's water polo team improved its record to 3-1 on the season with a 14-4 win over Grove City in the first official game at the Bucknell Invitational, being held in Freas Rooke Pool on Saturday and Sunday, February 24-25.

The Bison got four goals each from senior co-captain Julie McLaughlin (Woodside, Calif./Menlo) and junior Brooke Rea (Canandaigua, N.Y./Los Altos) on the way to the 10-goal victory. Junior Adrienne Schober (Houston, Texas/Clearlake) handed out four assists, in addition to scoring one goal.

The Orange and Blue take on Slippery Rock at 2:20, before finishing the day with a game against Salem International at 7:40 p.m.
