California Baptist Too Much For BU Women's Water Polo

CALIF., -- Bucknell suffered an 11-1 setback to California Baptist, ranked 20h in the country, in women's water polo action on Tuesday, March 13.

Senior co-captain Paige Cull (Bay City, Mich./John Glenn) scored BU's lone goal in the game, while also grabbing two steals. Freshman Kelly Hofstetter (Scotts Valley, Calif./Harbor) assisted on the goal and recorded one steal in the contest.

Sophomore goalkeeper Lindsay Chesterfield (Kingston, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) made four saves in the game and also registered a team-high five steals.

Bucknell falls to 10-6 overall and will face Santa Clara on Saturday, March 17, in the first round of the Claremont Convergence. The Bison play at 11:45 a.m., Pacific Time.
