Bucknell Women's Water Polo Loses Sixth Straight

VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Bucknell women's water polo team found itself in a 5-0 hole at halftime, and the Bison could never recover as they fell to Iona, 10-4, in the second game of the day at the Villanova Invitational.

Four different players recorded goals for BU in the game. Freshmen Ashley Aiken and Cody Keffer scored one goal each and added one assist for two points. Seniors Brooke Rea and Adrienne Schober were responsible for the other two goals, while rookie Larissa Brown got involved in the scoring with one assist.

Junior goalkeeper Lindsay Chesterfield made six saves in the contest.

Bucknell falls to 5-12 overall and faces Queens in the next game.
