PRINCETON, N.J. - Six different players scored and the Bison women's water polo team grabbed 16 steals on the way to a 7-4 victory over Villanova in the final game of the weekend at the Southern Division League Games on Sunday, March 28.

The two teams were neck-in-neck for the first two quarters before the Wildcats took a 4-3 lead entering the final frame. The Bison then outscored Villanova 4-0 in the fourth quarter to come away with the 7-4 win.

Freshman Mallory Sullivan was the only multiple goal scorer, netting two for BU. Classmate Elizabeth Jensen led the team with two assists to go along with her one goal.

On the defensive end, rookie Taylor Voeltz registered five of Bucknell's 16 steals, while Sullivan had three swipes. Freshman Mandy Bynum made nine saves for the 11-13 Bison.

The Orange and Blue are 4-4 in league play. Bucknell faces Hartwick in the opening game of the ECAC Championship at Brown on Saturday, April 3.
