Bison Women's Water Polo Drops Close 6-4 Game to Harvard at Eastern's

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Bucknell women's water polo team fell for the second-straight game, dropping a 6-4 decision to Harvard on Saturday, April 27. The Bison, competing in the Eastern Championship at Princeton, N.J., took third place in their bracket and will now face St. Francis, the third place team in the C bracket, at 9:40 a.m. on Sunday.

Senior Brooke Rea and freshman Cody Keffer led Bucknell with one goal and one assist each. Also scoring goals were freshman Katie Hartigan and sophomore Kelly Hofstetter.

Junior Lindsay Chesterfield recorded eight saves in the game.

Bucknell is 13-18 overall and will play at 9:40 a.m. on Sunday, April 28.

Goals: Hartigan, Hofstetter, Keffer, Rea.
Assists: Blitzer, Keffer, Rea, Schober.
Steals: Keffer 2, Ketterer 2, Brown, Hartigan, Hofstetter, Rea.
Ejections Drawn: Rea 2, Aiken.
Saves: Chesterfield (8 SV, 6 GA).
