Bucknell Cross Country Places Most on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
Jan. 31, 2006 LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's women's cross country team placed 16 runners on the 2006 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced on Tuesday. The Bison's 16 representatives topped the League list, as Holy Cross finished in a close second with 14, while American placed in third 12. In order to qualify for this prestigious honor, the student-athlete must carry a fall semester grade point average of 3.20 or above, and must be awarded a varsity letter. Seniors Jennifer O'Connor (Langhorne, Pa./Nazareth Acad.) and Linda Sanders (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) each finished the fall semester with a 4.0 GPA.
