LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell senior cross country runner Becki Marshall has been selected as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 28., the conference announced yesterday.

Marshall has now won the ECAC Athlete of the Week award three times this season.

Competing at the Patriot League Championship last Saturday at Colgate University, Marshall captured the women's individual crown with a time of 22:40.8 for her third straight individual title. She became just the second athlete in the history of the league besides Lauren Gubicza of Fordham (1990-92) to win three individual cross country championships. Her performance also vaulted Bucknell to its fourth straight team championship, as the Bison outscored their nearest competitor, Army, by 49 points (28-77).

Bucknell returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 10, when it travels to Lehigh University for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional meet.
